Academic Leave
Academic Leave Students are students who postpone all academic activities or are inactive for a certain period of time with the permission of the Program Chair, provided that:
- Status as an active student;
- Academic leave can only be implemented at least in the second semester;
- The minimum length of leave is one semester and a maximum of two semesters, either consecutively or not.
- Applications for academic leave are submitted before the end of the next semester’s registration period.
- Applications for academic leave are submitted to the Secretary of the Doctoral Program In Law through Academic Admission by filling out the form provided and attaching:
a) Photocopy of KTM
b) Certificate of Free Library
c) Thesis Guidance Card
d) Photocopy of the last SPP payment slip in the academic year concerned
e) Photocopy of academic leave administration money payment slip in accordance with applicable regulations. - Students who are on academic leave are exempt from tuition fees.
- Extension of academic leave is carried out by submitting an application for extension of academic leave through Academic Admission by returning a letter of application for leave from the program.
- Students on academic leave can be active again with the following conditions:
a) Submit a letter of application to be active again through Academic Admission by filling out the form provided.
b) Attach a Permit of Academic Leave (initial/extension).
c) Paying financial administration (SPP, registration, etc.) in accordance with applicable regulations. - Students on academic leave when active again can take credits according to the last IPS (Semester Achievement Index) and GPA before leaving.
- Academic leave period does not count as study period.
