Exploratory Cooperation Visit of the Faculty of Law UII to Hadiputranto, Hadinoto & Partners (HHP Law Firm)

On 21 January 2026, a delegation from the Faculty of Law, Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII), visited the office of HHP Law Firm in Jakarta. Historically, HHP Law Firm was founded by alumni of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Indonesia; however, over time, many of its partners have also come from other law schools. HHP Law Firm—short for Hadiputranto, Hadinoto & Partners—is one of the leading law firms with strong national and international reputations.

“We are generally open to collaboration with universities across Indonesia. We frequently receive visits from various law schools. We very much welcome the visit and cooperation initiative from the Faculty of Law UII. HHP has carried out many pro bono activities at universities, such as serving as moot court coaches, delivering seminars, and other academic engagements. These activities can serve as a benchmarking model for our prospective partnership with the Faculty of Law UII,” said Mr. Ponti Partogi, Head of the Tax and Customs Practice Group at Hadiputranto, Hadinoto & Partners (HHP Law Firm).

The UII Faculty of Law delegation consisted of the Dean of the Faculty of Law UII, Prof. Dr. Budi Agus Riswandi, S.H., M.H.; the Vice Dean for Cooperation, Religious Affairs, and Alumni, Agus Triyanta, S.H., M.H., M.A., Ph.D.; the Head of the Undergraduate Law Study Program, Dodik Setiawan Nur Heriyanto, S.H., M.H., LL.M., Ph.D.; and Rahadian Suwartono, Head of the Internationalization Unit of the Faculty of Law UII. During the visit, the delegation was warmly welcomed by Mr. Ponti Partogi, Head of the Tax and Customs Practice Group at HHP; Mr. Iman Suryanto Hindrajanto, Associate Partner; Mr. Mahardikha Sardjana, Senior Partner of HHP Law Firm; and Mr. Rizki Priyadi, Talent Management Manager.

“All of our study programs have achieved excellent status and are currently being strengthened toward internationalization. Many of our graduates work as lawyers. We strongly hope that our talented students will have opportunities to undertake internships at HHP Law Firm. We also hope that HHP Law Firm may deliver practitioner lectures at the Faculty of Law UII,” stated the Dean of the Faculty of Law UII.

During the visit, both parties discussed potential cooperation schemes as well as plans for the signing of a cooperation agreement at the Faculty of Law UII, along with the organization of joint activities. The visit concluded with a group photo session and the exchange of souvenirs.
