Implementation of Collective Passports to Encourage Internationalization at FH UII
The Faculty of Law,Universitas Islam Indonesia, on Tuesday, April 30 2024, carried out Collective Passport Service activities in collaboration with the DIY Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights. This collective passport service is carried out for one day, starting at 09.00 WIB and taking place in the Preparation Room, 4th Floor, Faculty of Law Building, Universitas Islam Indonesia. A total of approximately 60 participants in making this collective passport were the UII Faculty of Law academic community consisting of students, lecturers and also several members of the general public.
As a new innovation, this collective passport making service not only serves to make new passports, but also serves to replace or extend passports, so that participants are not required to come directly to the DIY Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights. “We are of course making various breakthroughs and innovations to continue developing immigration services as well as educating the public,” said the Head of the DIY Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Agung Rektono Seto, S.E., M.Si.
With the existence of collective passport service activities by the DIY Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, it can facilitate and speed up the process of making a passport, especially for the Faculty of Law academic community who want to travel abroad. Saves time and costs, and can increase the efficiency and effectiveness of implementing the Faculty of Law Internationalization program. The implementation of this collective passport service is certainly expected to encourage internationalization activities at the Faculty of Law and can be a strategic and useful step to improve the quality of education, research and reputation of the Faculty of Law at home and abroad.
