VISION, MISSION, PURPOSE, AND GOALS OF MASTER PROGRAM IN LAW

VISION

To realize the Master Program in Notarial Law that has professionalism in the field of notarial law, contract planning, and sharia deeds and is committed to excellence in the field of education, research, community services, and da’wah Islamiyah at the national level.

MISSION

  1. To implement Master’s Education in Notarial Law that is oriented to academic and professional development in the field of notarial law, contract planning, and sharia law.
  2. To conduct legal research for academic and professional development in the field of notarial law using an interdisciplinary and/or comparative approach.
  3. To implement community services and da’wah Islamiyah to create a notarial law-conscious society.

 

OBJECTIVES

  1. To produce graduates who master legal sciences and understand the development of notarial law with a global perspective (intellectual criteria).
  2. To produce graduates who are professional, excellent in the field of notarial law, contract planning, and sharia deeds (professional criteria).
  3. To produce graduates who have integrity based on Islamic values ​​and have the ability to provide legal services to the society (Islamic criteria).

GOALS

  1. No less than 60% of the students master the theories of legal sciences and obtain grade A in Theory of Law, Philosophy of Law, and Politics of Law courses with a GPA no less than 3.25.
  2. No less than 70% of the students have a specialized competence in notarial law which should be proven with grade A in TPA I, II, and III courses.
  3. No less than 70% of the students master the development of global legal issues, which should be proven with grade A in Law of Contracts, Investment and Capital Market Law, and Corporation Law.
  4. No less than 70% of the students master the notarial aspects concerning sharia deeds which should be indicated with grade A in Sharia Economic Law, and Knowledge of Sharia Deeds.
  5. No less than 60% of the graduates pass the exam for Notary Public and Land Deed Official.
  6. No less than 75% of the graduates work in the notarial profession or a profession related to notarial law in the first 6 months after graduation.
  7. No less than 90% of the students graduate on time.
  8. No less than 90% of the lecturers have good score in Lecturer Performance Assessment in terms of pedagogical, social, and professional aspects.
  9. No less than 40% of the lecturers have scientific work publications related to notarial law.
  10. The number of foreign lecturers is no less than 10%.
