Announcement : Academic Services of The International Program

Assalamualaikum warohmatullahi wabarokatuh

We hereby announce that all academic services of the International Program of Undergraduate Study Program in Law, Faculty of Law, Universitas Islam Indonesia will be effectively to be moved and served in the New Building of the Faculty of Law, Integrated Campus, Universitas Islam Indonesia, Kaliurang street KM 14.5, Sleman, Yogyakarta start from February 1, 2022.
We also inform you that on January 25 – 28, 2022 there will be a slight disruption and delay in academic services within the International Program, Undergraduate Study Program in Law, Faculty of Law, Universitas Islam Indonesia, due to the process of moving to the new office.

Remedial Exam Information, Odd Semester, Academic Year 2021/2022

GENERAL REGULATIONS FOR ORGANIZATION

Remedial Leaflet [ pdf ]
  1. The Remediation Exam is held by the Study Program with the aim of improving students’ grades and GPA.
  2. The only remediation exams that can be taken are those related to the courses being taken by students in the semester concerned (current semester).
  3. By considering academic, operational and other criteria related to the specifics and existing conditions, the study program may determine the courses offered and/or cancel the Remediation Examination for certain courses and/or classes.
  4. Students taking the Remediation Examination remain in the same Class and Examiner as in this regular semester.
  5. Students can take a maximum of Remediation Exams in all courses taken in this regular semester as long as they meet the requirements, one of which meets a minimum attendance of 75%.

EVALUATION

  
  1. The norms of assessment and determination of graduation in the Remediation Examination are guided by the Study Program regulation.
  2. Assessment components other than Mid Exam(UTS) and Final Exam (UAS) such as lecture attendance, activity, practicum, and assignments are calculated based on achievements in this semester (regular).
  3. The Final Score (NA) of the Remediation Exam results is not considered for taking credits (Credits Allotment) for the next semester, but will be calculated on the cumulative score taken with the best score.

Key-In Remediation Time : February 17-18, 2022 (no revision period) 08.00-16.00 WIB (Indonesian Western Time)
Payment Period : February 18, 2022 at 17.30 – August 12, 2021 at 14.00 WIB (according to the ID on the bill of UII GATEWAY )
Course Cancellation : Submitted by students because the minimum score is A/B no later than January 12, 2022 at 14.00 IWT
Membership Verification Results : January 19, 2022, at 19.00 look at the gateway, KRS menu or on the Lecture Schedule (Odd Semester of Remediation).
Announcement of Exam Schedule : January 19, 2022, start at 20.00 WIB (see at https://law.uii.ac.id, including info on the course closed by Study Program )
Exam Implementation : January 21 – 28, 2022 (No Make-up Exam)

Note:

For students who have already keyed in because the grades have not been released and have paid, it turns out that they have obtained a minimum A/B score after the key-in ends, they have the right to cancel by reporting to the Academic Division to get a refund.

KEY IN REMEDIATION INSTRUCTION

  1. KEY IN students at GATEWAY use the internet network (https://www.gateway.uii.ac.id) , according to schedule.
  2. Use your own Username and Password! If there is a problem, immediately contact the Information Systems Division of the UII Faculty of Law or via https://bsi.uii.ac.id (via WhatsApp number).
  3. Make sure the courses taken are correct (Remember, there are no revisions).
  4. Don’t forget to log out when you’re done Key In.

  1. Refunds can only be made for closed courses/classes or grades in the current semester getting grades of A, A-, or A/B.
  2. The exam is held online, while the rules for the remediation exam refer to the applicable provisions and the instructions of the supporting lecturer.

Global Undergraduate Exchange Program

The Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (Global UGRAD) provides a diverse group of emerging student leaders with a scholarship for one semester of non-degree academic study at a U.S. college or university. Global UGRAD is a program of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the United States Department of State and aims to recruit participants from underrepresented backgrounds who have not had other opportunities to study in the United States. Successful applicants can expect in-depth exposure to U.S. society, culture, and academic institutions, as well as opportunities to enhance their professional skills.

All participants will be enrolled in full-time, non-degree, undergraduate coursework chosen from their host institution’s existing curriculum. Participants will be required to take one, 3-credit U.S. studies course to enhance their understanding of the United States. Participants will live in campus housing facilities with American peers and will be required to participate in twenty hours of community service. There will also be a virtual arrival orientation and an in-person end-of-program workshop.

Grant benefits include international travel, tuition, room and board, accident/sickness insurance, monthly stipend, and funding for books.

Eligibility

Applicant should:

  • Be an Indonesian citizen
  • Be over 18 years of age
  • Be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate program (S1/D4) in Indonesia, having completed a minimum of one semester of study and having at least one more semester to complete at their home institution upon return. Preference will be given to those who are in their third up to the fifth semester.
  • Demonstrate leadership potential through academic work, community involvement, and extracurricular activities
  • Demonstrate command of written and spoken English as attested by a recent (less than two years old) TOEFL ITP or TOEFL Prediction score of 500 or iBT of 48.
  • Be committed to returning directly to Indonesia after the completion of the program

Preference will be given to those who have had little or no experience in the US or outside of their home countries. Only short-listed candidates will be notified for a personal interview.

The following applicants are ineligible:

  • US citizens and permanent residents of the United States
  • Individuals currently studying, residing, or working outside of Indonesia
  • Local employees of the US missions abroad who work for the US Department of State and/or the US Agency for International Development (USAID)
  • Immediate family members (i.e., spouses and children) of US Department of State and USAID employees; family members are also ineligible for one year following the termination of employment
  • Current World Learning and AMINEF employees and their immediate family members

Deadline

The deadline for the online submission of application materials for the program is January 6, 2022.

How to Apply

Candidates should complete the online application, which can only be accessed from November 1, 2021, until the deadline of January 6, 2022. 

Submission Requirements (to be supplied in English)

  • Two letters of reference, one from a lecturer from the applicant’s major field of study, the other from another lecturer, an employer, a coach, or a community work supervisor.
  • Photocopy of Indonesian ID card (KTP)
  • The latest university progress report/transcript in Indonesian and English

The transcript and other materials must be prepared before the deadline since you will not be able to add additional information on the online application form after that date.

After the online application has been submitted, candidates should inform staff at AMINEF via email attaching their scanned TOEFL ITP or TOEFL Prediction score to [email protected], with the email subject, “[Your Full Name] – Completed Global UGRAD Online Form.”

Please note that there are requirements unique to the Indonesia program, which may differ from details on the World Learning website. For applicants from Indonesia, please refer to the above requirements when applying to this program and direct all your questions to AMINEF staff.

Schedule of Semester Final Examination (UAS) 2020/2021 Undergraduate Faculty of Law UII

With the end of the Even Semester 2020/2021 PSHPS FH UII lecture period, an online Final Semester Examination (UAS) will be held. Therefore, students, please prepare yourself as well as possible to face the exam. Here we attach the UAS schedule via Google Spreadsheet View. Students should always look at this schedule because there are possible updates or schedule changes that may occur for some reason.

Important Note: For students whose attendance is less than 75% still working on the UAS Question, the lecturer will not correct it.
