This program is the first bridging program carried out so that international exposure is not only provided by students but also lecturers. “Apart from that, the participation of these lecturers can also make it easier for them to get a supervisor at the University of Groningen when taking a PhD program or Post Doctoral Program.” as explained by Dodik Setiawan Nur Heriyanto, S.H., M.H., L.LM., Ph.D.

During the visit, the Dean of the Faculty of Law UII and the Head of the Undergraduate Study Program in Law were also accompanied by a Permanent Lecturer at the UII Faculty of Law who happened to be continuing his doctoral studies at the University of Groningen, namely Abdurrahman Al Faqiih, S.H., LL.M. and Siti Ruhama Mardlah, S.H., M.H. Prof. Dr. Albertjan Tollenaar as Director of the Graduate School of Law welcomed the follow-up to the collaboration program, especially related to the lecturers exchange which will be held in early 2024. It is hoped that more and more academics from the UII Faculty of Law will experience studying law directly in the Netherlands because from a historical perspective , there are still many legal systems and concepts in the Netherlands that are followed by Indonesia.
