Implementation of Collaboration between FH UII and FH UNHAS in Student Exchange Program

[KALIURANG]; On Monday, October 16 2023, a collaboration signing activity between the Faculty of Law, Islamic University of Indonesia and the Faculty of Law, Hasanuddin University, which took place in the Prof. Room. Laica Marzuki at the Faculty of Law, Hasanuddin University, Makassar. “Our arrival in Makassar is to establish collaboration between Faculty of Law UII and Hasanuddin University. In fact, without this collaboration, we would have carried out real activities, one of which was the implementation of the Student Exchange under the cheme of Independent Campus (MBKM) program where one of the FH UII students had carried out student exchange activities for 1 (one) semester at the Faculty of Law, Hasanuddin University. And we hope that in the future there will be more activities that can be collaborated on.” as mentioned during the initial speech from the Dean of the UII Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Budi Agus Riswandi, S.H., M.Hum.


Prof. Dr. Hamzah Halim, S.H., M.H., MAP as Dean of the Faculty of Law, Hasanuddin University welcomed the delegation directly from the Faculty of Law, UII Yogyakarta. Present together with the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Hasanudin University, namely Prof. Dr. Maskun, S.H., LL.M. (Deputy Dean for Academic and Student Affairs), Prof. Dr. Iin Karita Sakharina, S.H., M.A. (Deputy Dean for Planning, Resources and Alumni), and Dr. Ratnawati, S.H., M.H. (Deputy Dean for Partnerships, Research and Innovation) along with the Study Program leaders and other officials. In his speech, the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Hasanudin University said that “We hope that we can organize intensive cooperation and collaborate on the potential of both the Faculty of Law Unhas and the Faculty of Law UII. It is also hoped that the fields of research and community service can become areas that can be collaborated. Thank God, the Unhas Faculty of Law also has a Scopus indexed journal. Perhaps in terms of research a joint research program can be held where research teams are formed that collaborate between lecturers at UII and Unhas.”

“Currently there are students from the UII Law Study Program who are taking part in the MBKM Student Curriculum Program, namely Ms. Nailah class of 2022 has taken approximately 24 credits of study for one semester at the Faculty of Law, Hasanuddin University. “We also hope that in the future, with this collaboration, students from the Hasanuddin University Faculty of Law will also be able to take part in student exchange at the UII Faculty of Law, considering that the assumption is that the curriculum pattern is almost the same as well as being aimed at taking unique and distinctive courses at each campus.” said Dodik Setiawan Nur Heriyanto, S.H., M.H., LL.M., Ph.D. as Head of the Undergraduate Study Program in Law UII.


The opening event continued with a cooperation signing session and a discussion session exploring cooperation from both parties guided by moderator Ahsan Yunus, S.H., M.H. The event ended with the presentation of souvenirs and conclusions about things that would be collaborated on in the future.
