Why we need to join MBKM Legal Practice?
The internship program provides sufficient experience for students, direct learning in the workplace (experiential learning). During the internship students will gain hard skills (skills, complex problem solving, analytical skills, etc.), as well as soft skills (professional/work ethics, communication, cooperation, etc.).
Meanwhile, the industry gets talent which, if suitable, can later be recruited immediately, thus reducing recruitment and initial/induction training costs. Students who are familiar with the workplace will be more stable in entering the world of work and their careers. Through this activity, industrial issues will flow to tertiary institutions so that updating teaching and learning materials for lecturers as well as research topics in tertiary institutions will be more relevant.
The criteria for students who can take part in the Legal Practice Program are:
- active students of the Undergraduate Law Study Program;
- minimal semester 6 (six), 7 (seven), or 8 (eight);
- have taken 100 (one hundred) credits with a minimum GPA of 3.00;
- may not take courses except the Final Project;
- have passed Deepening of Basic Islamic Values (PNDI) I, Deepening of Basic Islamic Values (PNDI) II, Deepening of the Qur’ani (PDQ), Leadership and Da’wah Training (PKD) I, and Leadership and Da’wah Training (PKD) II with a minimum score C;
- have passed the Civil Procedure Law Course and the Criminal Procedure Law Course with a minimum grade of B, and pass certain courses agreed upon by the Undergraduate Law Study Program and partners;
- ready to commit to following the legal practice program until completion in accordance with predetermined provisions as evidenced by a stamped statement;
- has no affiliation with partners in law practice programs;
- key in RAS according to the course to be converted;
- willing to take part in the Legal Practice program by not taking lectures in class or other apprenticeship activities and/or Community Service Program (KKN);
- while undergoing the legal practice program is willing not to take the Final Final Examination; and
- make payment of tuition fees and credits in accordance with applicable regulations.
