Biografi Singkat
Beliau adalah dosen tetap Fakultas Hukum Universitas Islam Indonesia (FH UII) sejak tahun 1990.
Pada tahun 1987, ia lulus dari Fakultas Hukum Universitas Gadjah Mada untuk gelar Sarjana Hukum sedangkan pada tahun 1988 menyelesaikan Sarjana Pendidikan dari IKIP Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY). Selanjutnya melanjutkan pendidikan S2 di Universitas Padjajaran dan menyelesaikan studinya pada tahun 2003. Selain itu, ia mendapatkan gelar Doctor of Philosophy dari International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM) pada tahun 2012.
