Direktorat Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi (Ditjen Dikti) bersama Google, GoTo dan Traveloka berkomitmen untuk menyelenggarakan program Bangun Kualitas Manusia Indonesia atau disebut Bangkit, sebuah program pembinaan 3.000 talenta digital terampil yang sejalan dengan program Presiden tentang penyiapan sembilan juta talenta digital terampil pada 2030.

Pada 2021, Program Bangkit telah diikuti oleh sebanyak 3.000 siswa dari 250 kampus dan 32 provinsi se- Indonesia dan 2.250 di antaranya berhasil lulus. Mereka mendapatkan sertifikasi global, kesempatan kerja, dan pendanaan inkubasi.

Program Bangkit selaras dengan kebijakan Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka, utamanya terkait konsep kegiatan belajar mahasiswa. Sehingga, dengan mengikuti program ini, dapat diakui sebagai kegiatan belajar mahasiswa yang setara sampai dengan 20 Satuan Kredit Semester (SKS).

Untuk masa pembelajaran semester genap (Feb – Juli 2022) tahun depan, pendaftaran Bangkit bagi 3.000 mahasiswa S1/D4 jurusan manapun, telah dibuka hingga 15 Desember 2021. Harap dicatat bahwa jadwal ini dapat diperpanjang sewaktu-waktu, mohon dicek tautan yang ada pada bagian surat ini.

Bangkit 2022 menyediakan tiga (3) learning path pilihan yang relevan dengan kebutuhan talenta digital Indonesia saat ini, yaitu machine learning, mobile development, dan cloud computing, berikut soft skills dan bahasa Inggris.

Adapun 5 (lima) manfaat Bangkit bagi siswa Bapak/Ibu adalah sebagai berikut (gratis, tanpa dikenakan biaya):

1. Kurikulum standar industri, pengajar praktisi, persiapan karir, dan kecakapan skill (tech, soft skills, dan bahasa Inggris)

2. Konversi pembelajaran Kampus Merdeka hingga 20 SKS

3. Peluang meraih karier sukses di perusahaan teknologi terdepan melalui Career Fair untuk lulusan

4. Peluang mendapatkan sertifikasi Standar Global: Associate Android Developer / Associate Cloud Engineer / Tensorflow Certification.

5. Kesempatan jadi 1 dari 15 tim yang meraih pendanaan inkubasi dan pendampingan industri untuk proyek akhir siswa dari Google & Dikti

The Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (Global UGRAD) provides a diverse group of emerging student leaders with a scholarship for one semester of non-degree academic study at a U.S. college or university. Global UGRAD is a program of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the United States Department of State and aims to recruit participants from underrepresented backgrounds who have not had other opportunities to study in the United States. Successful applicants can expect in-depth exposure to U.S. society, culture, and academic institutions, as well as opportunities to enhance their professional skills.

All participants will be enrolled in full-time, non-degree, undergraduate coursework chosen from their host institution’s existing curriculum. Participants will be required to take one, 3-credit U.S. studies course to enhance their understanding of the United States. Participants will live in campus housing facilities with American peers and will be required to participate in twenty hours of community service. There will also be a virtual arrival orientation and an in-person end-of-program workshop.

Grant benefits include international travel, tuition, room and board, accident/sickness insurance, monthly stipend, and funding for books.

Eligibility

Applicant should:

  • Be an Indonesian citizen
  • Be over 18 years of age
  • Be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate program (S1/D4) in Indonesia, having completed a minimum of one semester of study and having at least one more semester to complete at their home institution upon return. Preference will be given to those who are in their third up to the fifth semester.
  • Demonstrate leadership potential through academic work, community involvement, and extracurricular activities
  • Demonstrate command of written and spoken English as attested by a recent (less than two years old) TOEFL ITP or TOEFL Prediction score of 500 or iBT of 48.
  • Be committed to returning directly to Indonesia after the completion of the program

Preference will be given to those who have had little or no experience in the US or outside of their home countries. Only short-listed candidates will be notified for a personal interview.

The following applicants are ineligible:

  • US citizens and permanent residents of the United States
  • Individuals currently studying, residing, or working outside of Indonesia
  • Local employees of the US missions abroad who work for the US Department of State and/or the US Agency for International Development (USAID)
  • Immediate family members (i.e., spouses and children) of US Department of State and USAID employees; family members are also ineligible for one year following the termination of employment
  • Current World Learning and AMINEF employees and their immediate family members

Deadline

The deadline for the online submission of application materials for the program is January 6, 2022.

How to Apply

Candidates should complete the online application, which can only be accessed from November 1, 2021, until the deadline of January 6, 2022. 

Submission Requirements (to be supplied in English)

  • Two letters of reference, one from a lecturer from the applicant’s major field of study, the other from another lecturer, an employer, a coach, or a community work supervisor.
  • Photocopy of Indonesian ID card (KTP)
  • The latest university progress report/transcript in Indonesian and English

The transcript and other materials must be prepared before the deadline since you will not be able to add additional information on the online application form after that date.

After the online application has been submitted, candidates should inform staff at AMINEF via email attaching their scanned TOEFL ITP or TOEFL Prediction score to info.scholarship@aminef.or.id, with the email subject, “[Your Full Name] – Completed Global UGRAD Online Form.”

USINDO would like to announce an exciting international exchange program that is part of the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI). The YSEALI Professional Fellows Program (YSEALI PFP) offers a chance for successful applicants to participate in a fully funded six-week professional development program in the United States in 2022.

YSEALI PFP will be implemented as a hybrid program with virtual activities leading up to the U.S.-based exchange. The program will be offered in two cycles: June-July 2022 (cycle one) and September-October 2022 (cycle two).
